What is modern cloud infrastructure and DevOps engineering?

Cloud infrastructure and DevOps engineering is the systematic automation of server provisioning, continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), security hardening, and disaster recovery for enterprise applications. By leveraging hardened Linux VPS clusters, automated GitHub Actions pipelines, and sub-400ms edge reverse proxies, modern DevOps eliminates shared-hosting crashes, manual FTP transfers, and unmonitored server outages with zero recurring retainer lock-in.

Hardened Cloud DevOps vs Legacy Shared Hosting

Comparing modern GitOps and containerized server infrastructure against traditional agency cPanel setups.

DevOps Dimension Legacy Shared / cPanel Setup TENSIX Hardened Cloud Architecture
Deployment Method Manual FTP/FileZilla upload with frequent site breaks Automated GitHub Actions CI/CD with zero-downtime atomic rollouts
Security & Hardening Default port 22 open, password auth, shared root vulnerabilities SSH key-only auth, UFW/fail2ban intrusion prevention, automated SSL rotators
Disaster Recovery Unverified local disk backups subject to total server loss Daily automated off-site encrypted S3 snapshots with 1-click restore drills
TTFB & Edge Caching 2,000ms – 3,500ms TTFB on crowded Apache servers < 350ms TTFB via Nginx reverse proxy + Cloudflare edge optimization
Ownership & Control Agency holds root keys; high hostage risk Directly on client's own AWS, Hetzner, or DigitalOcean account; 100% owned

Who This Is For

Hardened cloud infrastructure and automated deployment pipelines for reliable digital operations.

  • High-Traffic Sites & StoresVPS Migration

Businesses suffering from sluggish response times, database bottlenecks, or random downtime on overcrowded shared hosting.

  • Growing Software TeamsAutomated CI/CD

Developers still transferring files manually via FTP or SSH who need reliable GitHub Actions pipelines with zero-downtime deployments.

  • Mission-Critical PlatformsDisaster Recovery

Companies that lack automated daily off-site backups, verified restore drills, SSL auto-renewal, and 24/7 uptime health monitors.

  • Multi-Site OperatorsConsolidated Cloud

Organizations hosting several web properties that want a single, hardened Oracle, AWS, or DigitalOcean VPS managed seamlessly.

How it works

Every project is planned, built and checked by Hemal Shah, who uses AI tools to work faster.

1

Review of your current hosting, apps and traffic.

2

Recommendation of a server and provider, with a fixed price.

3

Server set-up and security: firewall, key-only login, SSL and updates.

4

Your sites or apps are moved over with a plan to switch back if anything goes wrong.

5

Hand-over of all logins, with a short note on how everything is set up.

Common questions

What is a VPS?

A VPS (virtual private server) is your own private space on a cloud server. Unlike shared hosting, other websites cannot slow yours down, and you control the security settings.

What is CI/CD?

CI/CD means that when your developers save new code to GitHub, it is checked and put live automatically. It removes manual uploads and the mistakes that come with them.

Will my website go down during the move?

We execute migrations with zero or minimal scheduled downtime: the new server is fully prepared first and the switch happens at a quiet time. The old server stays ready in case you need to switch back.

Which cloud provider should I use?

It depends on your budget and traffic. Oracle Cloud, DigitalOcean, AWS and Hostinger are all options, and Hemal recommends one in writing before you buy anything.

Who pays for the server?

You pay the cloud provider directly, in your own account. The TENSIX fee covers only the set-up work.

What if something breaks after set-up?

We configure continuous monitoring, automated health-checks, and failovers so problems are caught early. For ongoing care, the Growth Engine Retainer includes server updates, backups and security checks.
